Outdoor & Nature Therapy in danville, PA

Experience therapy differently.

Maybe you’ve been to therapy before:

you’ve sat in the office, you’ve filled out the forms and talked. But then you’ve left and still felt the same.

When therapy is effective, it’s about so much more than just talking about what you’re experiencing (or even talking about feeling it). It’s actually feeling it.

That’s why ecotherapy is one of the cornerstones of my practice. Because therapy is, ultimately, about feeling: feeling the sun on your skin, the tightness in your chest, hearing the breeze in the trees, and your heart pounding in your chest.

I want to offer you a different kind of experience: one where you don’t just get the support of a trained therapist but the wisdom, space, and healing that only nature can offer.

When we do therapy outside, the walls come down…figuratively and literally.

There’s something about being outside that is freeing: you know that feeling, don’t you? When we take therapy into nature, you can remove the walls you’ve hid behind or that have held you back.

Therapy is healing, and that healing should be designed by you. You get to say what feels good to you and figuring out what that looks like is something we will do together.

Whether it’s simply sitting in the sun, laying on the ground, making an aromatherapy blend for confidence as a you go into a court room to face your abuser or sticking your hands in the dirt and planting flowers in the garden, we’ll create a journey & experience that is uniquely yours.

How nature therapy works

It’s simple: we meet in the great outdoors (or bring the outdoors to us).

“Ecotherapy” might be a fancy word, but it’s not complicated. It’s just about finding ourselves in nature. Think of the flower that wilts but finds life again after a rain.

If we meet in person, you’re invited to my 20-acre farm in Danville, PA. We’ll hold sessions outside or in my 10x14 cottage (which, at last count, houses 22 different plants). If we’re meeting online, I’ll encourage you to open a window, take your device outside, or bring your pet into session with you.
