Relationship therapy for Individuals | Danville, PA & online in pa
It’s possible to feel heard and find joy in your relationships again.
Does it feel like you’re talking, but no one is listening? Maybe this is showing up in arguments with your partner—like you’re talking past and over one another; no matter what, you’re not on the same page. Or maybe with your parents: even as an adult, you feel steamrolled or like you aren’t heard or respected the way you want to be.
Our relationships have the potential to be amazing, life-giving parts of our lives...as well as draining, stressful ones. Whether you’re navigating a toxic situation or simply trying to reconnect and communicate better, beginning with the way you view, understand, and respond is key to finding genuine fulfillment in your relationships again.
That’s what relationship counseling for individuals is here for: to help you invest in the connections that are most important to you by first investing in yourself.

How Individual Relationship Counseling Works
Relationships may be a two-way street, but we’re only in charge of one of them. In individual relationship counseling, we’ll work on acknowledging and investing in what you can control (and releasing the rest).
Therapy is a place dedicated to you, where you can feel free expressing yourself without fear of judgment, criticism, or being shut down. We’ll start there: understanding what’s going on in your relationships and how that is impacting you, your emotions, and how you feel about yourself.
From there, we’ll work on digging into the root causes of these things, as well as identifying what skills you can start putting into action moving forward. The goal is to support you in feeling good about how you show up and respond in your relationships, understanding not just what to say, but what’s at play on a deeper level.
We’ll also bring your physical wellness—sleep, nutrition, hydration, and movement—into therapy, helping you feel empowered and connected not just to those around you, but to yourself as well.

Fresh perspective leads to deeper connection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy is only successful if you are doing it with someone you truly trust and feel comfortable with. That’s why I offer a free consultation—to help you decide if I can be that for you. If not, I’m always happy to refer you to another therapist that might be a better fit!
My approach to therapy is integrative, bringing together your physical health, your mental health, and skills such as breathing and mindfulness exercises that you can put into practice in your day-to-day life.
If we meet in person, we also get the benefit of the great outdoors and all its grounding and healing properties too. (Oh, and my chickens—they’re free entertainment.)

I specialize in working with individuals, rather than couples. If you’re looking to engage in therapy with your partner, I won’t be the right therapist for you. If you’d like to work 1:1 with me, focusing on your relationships (and anything else that may come up), then I would love to help.

This is 100% dependent on you and your goals for therapy. I work with some clients for a few months, and others for much longer. We will regularly check in on our progress toward your goals and evaluate the level of support you’d like moving forward.
