WHAT WE BELIEVE

For those who left traditional therapy wanting something “more,” we believe there’s a different way of doing things.

We specialize in working with adults who found traditional therapy didn’t lead to the deep, long-lasting change they were looking for.

Often, they’re noticing the ways their anxiety, relationship challenges, or painful past experiences are continuing to crop up in their day-to-day life…and there’s simply no “thinking” their way out of it.

Our approach to therapy takes into account every part of your experience, from how much sleep you got last night to the way you feel when you step into our office for a session. We want even the physical space you sit in to feel healing: like you can walk in and let out the breath you didn’t know you were holding. Then—and only then—can you truly open yourself up to the change and transformation that’s possible.

Every facet of our health is connected, from our mindset and self-talk to our sleep and nutrition. Our work includes looking at the 4 pillars of health—hydration, nutrition, movement, and sleep—and how investing in these can lead to better mental and emotional health. Because when our bodies are healthy, our mind can be too. 

> PRACTICAL SKILLS

Therapy is only one hour of your week. We want you to walk away from sessions with real strategies you can apply to all the rest of your hours, too. We’ll talk about ways to use breathing, mindfulness, mantras, and other skills that will help you feel confident facing challenges in day-to-day life.

> MINDSET SHIFTS

At the end of the day, you are in control of you (even if it may not feel that way right now). We’ll work on looking at things from a new perspective and making connections, so you can begin to understand where a certain emotion or thought is coming from and know how to address it. 

> EVIDENCE-BASED METHODS

Everything we do together will be tailored to you and your needs. Our therapists are trained in various modalities, including EMDR, CBT, and TFCBT, and will incorporate the methods that will best support your goals for therapy and what you hope to get out of it.

We offer convenient online therapy to residents throughout Pennsylvania, so you can get the support you need from just about anywhere with a good wifi connection.

In Office

Convenient in-person sessions (in the least stuffy therapy office you’ve ever been to). Our Wilkes-Barre location offers easy access to additional holistic services, too.

In nature

Get in-person support in the great outdoors. Weather permitting, we’ll meet together outside on our 20-acre property in Danville, PA. (Chicken entertainment included at no additional charge.)
